How Broilers Leave the House
- Automatic broiler unloading pulls the plastic floor. Birds drop onto the manure belt and ride to the end.
- A manual cage opens at the front. Catchers put birds into crates. The cage has no pull-out floor.
- A floor house winches the lines up first. Catchers or a machine load crates brought into the house.
Weifang Splendid treats unloading as part of the cage, not an add-on. An automatic broiler cage has a floor that comes out. A manual cage has a door. A floor house has neither. The three do not share a loading table. The quote follows which one is in the house.

Automatic cage
The cage floor is a plastic slat panel. At harvest it is pulled. Birds drop onto the manure belt under that tier. The belt, which carried manure all cycle, now carries birds to the drive end. A lift or a cross conveyor takes them off the belt and out of the house, to a table or straight into crates. Staff stand at that end. They do not open every door.
The floor has to come out clean. A panel that sticks leaves birds in the cage and jams the belt. The belt has to be wide enough and sound enough to take birds, not only manure. A worn belt that was fine for droppings can tear under a load of broilers. Weifang Splendid marks the pull and the lift with the cage, because a cage sold as automatic without a working pull is a manual cage on harvest day.
Manual cage and floor
A manual broiler cage opens at the front. Catchers take birds out and into crates. There is no belt under the birds for unloading. The manure path, if there is one, stays a manure path. Crates come to the row. The row does not come to a table.
A floor house has no doors. Feed and drinker lines winch to the ceiling so catchers can walk. Birds are caught by hand, or a catching machine herds them onto a conveyor. Crates or modular drawers are brought into the house, filled, and taken to the truck. The house needs clear height for the winch and a door the crates can pass. A floor system quoted without that clearance cannot be unloaded the way the drawing shows.
| Automatic cage | Manual cage | Floor | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How birds leave | Floor pulls, drop to belt | Door opens, caught by hand | Caught after lines winch up |
| Where they go | Lift to a table or crates | Crates at the row | Crates in the house |
| What must work | Pull, belt, lift | Doors and aisle | Winch height, crate door |
What the quote moves
Automatic unloading adds the pull-out floor, a belt that can take birds, and a lift at the end. Manual adds doors and an aisle wide enough for crates. Floor adds winches and a door the crates pass. Feed, nipples, and fans are on all three. The harvest line is not. A speed printed on a brochure is checked against the row length and the crate the plant uses. Weifang Splendid does not stamp a birds-per-hour figure on a cage that has not been matched to the truck.
What to send
Automatic cage, manual cage, or floor. Birds, house width and clear height, and how the plant wants them loaded.
FAQ
How does automatic unloading work?
The plastic floor pulls. Birds drop onto the manure belt and ride to a lift at the end.
Does a manual cage do the same?
No. The door opens. Catchers put birds into crates at the row.
What changes on a floor house?
Lines winch up first. Catchers or a machine load crates brought into the house.
What should I send?
Cage or floor, birds, house width and height, and how the plant loads.
